Baby Samuel,
I wrote your brother many letter by this time for him to read when he gets older. I hope to write just as many to you, but between your unwillingness to sleep anywhere but my arms and keeping up with your big brother; I just can't wait to crash at night once you are both asleep! Of course I have tried to put you down a number of times today and every time you have woken up begging to be held. I put you down just now to start your bath and you stayed asleep! You continue to challenge me.
Your are 7 weeks old today! Time has flown by and I am learning more about your personality each day. You are the blessing I never thought would come. I never thought I would have two amazing boys to raise. You shocked us all with your full head of dark hair. You were 6 lbs and 7 oz. Still so tiny, but had a big scream right away. Everyone says you look like your daddy. Your hands are smaller then your brothers, but you have long feet. I think you might be the taller one. :)
Although you are hard to get down to sleep, once asleep you take nice long naps. It amazes me how easily you calm around me and my voice. Just hearing my voice calms your little cry. You sleep in your own room already because small noises effect your sleep much more then they did Zac. You love to coo with me and smile after a long nap. I can get the best smiles out of you. You giggle in your sleep at times, and once made a loud laugh. You love to watch your big brother Zac and lay next to him in my bed while he watches cartoons or plays games. You love to sleep in your car seat, but not in the car, only at home.
