At your last appointment your doctor heard a heart murmur so we also saw a Peds cardiologist. You were so good throughout the whole appointment. You sat on my lap with your bottle while your super nice doctor took pictures of your heart. He gave me a picture for your baby book. The doctor did find that the hole that sends the blood from your heart to the placenta while in my stomach did not close yet. He said that it should close on it's own over the next year, but if not it will need to be closed for you. We are really hoping it closes on it's own. We will go back in 6 months to have another ultrasound to see if the hole is getting smaller.
You are really looking around more and more every day and noticing your hands. You are not a fan of tummy time although you make your mom and dad happy and play along. Your neck is getting stronger everyday! You love your stroller and now sleep in it at night too. You love how cozy it is. You are still really fussy with gas and we hope that it will get better in the next few weeks. Nothing stops you from your eating though! You eat 4+ ounces every 4 hours. Your new thing is to get really mad when we stop feeding you so you can burp. Even when you have the biggest burp waiting for us you still hate to stop eating.
You truly have my heart. Today you were so fussy I had to put you down and let you cry while I put some clothes on to go to the grocery store. At the store you were so calm, probably sleepy, but I was upset that you were mad at me for letting you cry for a few minutes. My eyes were full of tears in the store. I don't think you will remember the moment, but I will. Your dad just laughed at me.
