Zachary at 16 weeks

Hey Little Man you are amazing your dad and I everyday with your new talents.  I have been trying for weeks to help you hold your rings and other toys.  I put them in your hands and you hold on for a little bit and let go not really looking at them.  Then one day I drop the rings into your stroller and leave to get my shoes; when I come back you are holding them with both hands and putting them in your mouth!! 

You have been watching your friend Oliver grab his toys, sit up, and lay on his tummy.  You now want to practice all the time.  You love to hold my fingers and pull yourself up so you are sitting.  You finally smile during tummy time, but that only lasts about 30 seconds before you want to be back on your back.

The biggest news is you are now sleeping in your own room in your crib and you love it!!  You will only go to sleep for me.  You are now over 13 pounds and are only getting up one time at night.

Our nights of taking you out for dinner are gone.  You no longer sleep through dinner.  You want to be up watching the action and taking in all the people.  You won't go to sleep for anything when we are out.  You have to be home and with me to fall asleep.  That is definitely a dad trait.  I can sleep pretty much anywhere and at anytime.  

You are just amazing to watch grow into your own little personality.  You have your 4 month doctor's appointment next week and we can see how big you are!
